Brooke and Sola met in college at the University of Pennsylvania, where they clicked instantly over a shared passion for early-stage venture, consumer trends, and community building. In January 2024, the duo launched Womansplain to amplify the voices of female founders, funders and industry players in male-dominated spaces like finance and tech.

With 7+ years of experience in investing and growth equity, Brooke brings a deep knowledge of tech and SaaS investing. She brings an investor perspective to her current role as the Chief of Staff at a portfolio company. Sola complements this with a rich understanding of the consumer landscape through her work in real estate and food & beverage. Together, they blend unique insights on everything from fashion to hospitality, sharing trends and fresh perspectives on the consumer world.
